Miley Cyrus is on a “tour” promoting her new movie called “Hannah Montana: The Movie” which opens on Friday. And she should be doing that as people know her better by the name of Hannah Montana. Including me. The Los Angeles-based star joined Ryan Seacrest on his radio show to promote the movie, and she admitted that she’s “an intense Christian”. Maybe that’s why everything is going well for her. When Ryan told her that her purse is huge, she said “well, you know, Ryan, my Bible really weighs a lot.” I don’t know if God played a role in her career, but if He did then I should become more religious.
Well, Miley is minding her own business and so far she has sold about 7 million albums, released a Wal-Mart clothing line, and featured in a movie which raised more than $70 million, and now she’s going to drive her ‘tween-market fans crazy with this new movie. Also we shouldn’t forget that she released the soundtrack for “Hannah Montana: The Movie” which is becoming more and more popular – “The Climb” is now #20 in the Mediabase Top 40 chart.
Although Miley plays music sung by Billy Ray Cyrus (her father), Taylor Swift, and Rascal Flatts, she doesn’t consider it a long-term paycheck (actually she doesn’t consider it a paycheck at all, but we all know that stars are humble). She is only 16 now, and Hanah Montana will not last forever therefore Miley has to do what’s best for her “celebrity career”. Cyrus looks bored when someone asks her about concerts, photo shoots (like the Vanity Fair one), television, movies, and boyfriends, but when someone says good things about her acting she glows with happiness.

Ms. Cyrus … humble, proud, smarter than ‘we’ think and poised, as if (all we have to do is think about her), has everyone completely lost their sense of propriety? Since you asked, our first impression was awfully bad. It is pure delusion to think ‘any publicity is good publicity because – duh – bad publicity is just that’ – phui. Anyway, upon accidentally seeing a segment in a TV Ad of this ‘personality’ on stage the immediate impression as follows including unless one is living in a cave, the press has made it patently clear Ms. Cyrus is of a quite young age, still, that didn’t stop her suggestively posing in photos with her father, no less, triggering inherent repulsion. Also, for whatever reason, she has developed this (for lack of a better word) spastic & vulgar looking gesture (which other very young girls seem compelled to emulate) with her right arm and hand straight in the air over her head, then bringing her arm & hand down to slightly in front of right hip with her finger/s pointing directly at her crotch in a somewhat modified version of the infamous Wacko Jacko gesture of actually grabbing his crotch. This is what we farmer’s daughers recognize as naughty, not nice, and NOTHING TO DO WITH POISE, SMARTS but pride, oh yeh, that’s the ticket.
Most sincerley we hope this girl has the opportunity to mature into a proper role model as, so far, her ‘talent’ is some form of bizaare rationalization. She looks 25 going on 45 years old. An unfortunate trend in Hollowood which, unfortunately, we’re not the only ones to notice. Hasn’t anyone noticed the drop-off in viewer-ship of the Oscar awards and/or ‘Is anybody there, does anybody care about presenting a clean decent life style?’
