Kim,  Khloe and Kourtney participated in the NOH8 campaign to show their support for gays and their right to marry.

They all took pictures and posted to their blog.

Kim Kardashian wrote Tuesday on her official blog: “It shouldn’t matter if you are straight, gay, bisexual, black, white, rich, poor… every citizen deserves to be treated as an equal. My good friend Joe Francis visited Washington DC this weekend to take part in the National Equality March and marched with thousands of gay rights activists all standing up for gay rights and rallying to demand that President Obama stand by what he promised this weekend at the Human Rights Campaign. I think what President Obama has said he will do to move gay rights forward is such a huge step in the right direction. It is a breath of fresh air to see a leader be soopen minded, modern and understanding of people of all lifestyles. I just hope he stands by his word. Equal rights for everyone!!!!!”

We all have to agree with the “Equal rights for everyone”, but i’m sure we will not enjoy to see gay people or lesbian on the streets, everywhere,  kissing and God  knows what.

My opinion is that this support for gays and the right to marry between them will bring a lot of strange situations,  a lot of conflicts because many people consider this a blasphemy.

It remains to be seen if this will become legal.
What’s your opinion referring to this?

Joe Francis never struck me as someone that cared about gay rights. But hey, we will take whatever support we can get ; even if from a guy that is constantly getting in trouble. Are we sure that wasn’t a typo? I still cannot envision him doing that!

Where gay marriage is legal, gays and lesbians are not kissing in the streets or doing “God knows what.” Marriage does not bring us “strange situations.” Marriage brings gays and lesbians acceptance, validation, and legal protection. When I told my mom I was gay, she cried. At my wedding 15 years later, she cried again, but they were tears of happiness as her son, who she loves and has come to fully accept, was marrying the man he loved.

You don’t have to accept same sex marriage or enter into one yourself, but I encourage you to at least open your heart to allow us the right to legally marry. I am grateful for the Kardashians’ support.

I’ve seen plenty of heterosexuals doing “God knows what.” (I was hoping you’d be a bit more open-minded.) It’s about time gays get to do the same.
