Jay-Z`s new hit “Empire State of Mind” breaking the charts

Jay-Z is on his fourth No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart Thursday with “Empire State of Mind”, in collaboration with Alicia Keys.  His No. 1 hits came as a featured vocalist on Mariah Carey’s “Heartbreaker”, his wife Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” and Rihanna’s “Umbrella”.

“Empire State of Mind” is also Alicia Keys No. 1, as she previously scaled the list with her debut single “Fallin”, her duet with Usher, “My Boo” and “No One”.

“Empire State of Mind” have spent two single-week stints at the top of the list, Owl City’s “Fireflies” slipped  to No. 2, Jason DeRulo’s  “Whatcha Say”  No. 3 and Iyaz’s “Replay” is No. 4.

Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” jumped 17 to No. 5,Britney Spears “3″ to No. 6, “Down” by Jay Sean featuring Lil Wayne fell to No. 7, and Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The U.S.A.” was also down to No. 8. Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” fell to No. 9. Rookie singer Ke$ha is in her first top 10 hit with her debut  single “Tik Tok” to No. 10.
