Tiger Woods breaking the silence about the crash

Golf superstar Tiger Woods smacked his Escalade into a tree early Friday morning near his home in Florida.
Woods again refused to meet with the Florida Highway Patrol about the incident with his wife. Woods’ agent declared that the golf star and his wife would not make themselves available to speak with authorities about the incident that left Tiger with lacerations and with one fire hydrant missing on his block.

Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren told the first officer on the scene from the Windemere PD that she went inside the house after the crash to get a golf club and then hit the car in an attempt to free her husband, but in time she told a different story to the Highway Patrol.

Tiger Woods has an explanation why he seemed out of it after the crash: he told his friend that he had been taking prescription painkillers, because we’re told there was no alcohol involved.

Golf player Tiger Woods suffered cuts to his lips and he was taken to hospital but released several hours  earlier.

Florida Highway Patrol said in a statement: “The troopers are scheduled to return to the Woods residence,  after they come on duty at 3:00 pm (2000 GMT). There is no press conference scheduled at this time”. Kim Montes  said investigators: “wanted to give him the opportunity to tell us what happened in the crash.”
