Britney Spears was the music star that had reigned supreme in annual Top 10 search results at Yahoo! for the previous four years. She was the fifth most popular search topic at Yahoo! in 2009 after Michael Jackson, teenage vampire book and film series “Twilight,” World Wrestling Entertainment, and rising star Megan Fox.

Vera Chan, a Yahoo! trend analyst said: “We saw consumers escape to the Web hoping to pursue news and their guilty pleasures: vampires, political implosions, how to moonwalk — you name it, people went online to find it and with economic uncertainty looming, people looked for ways to find stability by searching the Web for new jobs, unemployment benefits, and ways to save through old-fashioned coupon hunting”.

In Google’s list of fastest-rising searches this year was also present Michael Jackson, “Twilight” and US singer Lady Gaga.

Michael Jackson died on June 25 in Los Angeles and his death became a topic for everyone so that is why he resulted to be the most popular term searched on internet.

Global Language Monitor (GLM) is a Texas-based company which analyzes and tracks language trends, who said that “Twitter” was the “Top Word of 2009.”

GLM president Paul Payack said: “In a year dominated by world-shaking political events, a pandemic, the after effects of a financial tsunami and the death of a revered pop icon, the word Twitter stands above all the other words”.

GLM uses a “proprietary algorithm that tracks words and phrases in the media and on the Internet” to compile its rankings.

Murray has admitted that he was  administering Propofol to Michael Jackson, but also sustains he didn’t kill Michael.

Jackson still remembers June 25 — the day Michael died — saying, “I was at my house in New York. You know, another day. Another morning. And I get a call … [my assistant] said, ‘Your brother’s been taken to the hospital. It’s on CNN right now. I called everyone’s. There’s a line busy or — someone wasn’t picking up. I spoke to mother. I spoke to Tito. I spoke to my nephew Austin. I spoke to my sister La Toya.”

Jackson added, “I told them to call me when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking nobody’s calling me back, so I tried calling again, and that’s how I found out that he was no longer … I couldn’t believe it.”

“It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream. It’s still so difficult for me to believe. It’s, you know, you have to accept what is. But it’s hard. You have to move on with your life. You have to accept what is and I understand that.”

The show was a special tribute to Michael Jackson. Katherine denied at first to appear..but in the end she was   so excited and she loved the show that she requested tickets for Monday.

She told the media that she had such a great time … that she’s going back for more.

Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for the estate, denies this statement and says that the signature is valid and the witnesses saw Jackson put pen to paper.

It is confirmed now that Michael signed the will on July 7, 2002 in New York City and the reference to Los Angeles is a mistake made by the witnesses to the will that simply forgot where he was.

Even if this testament was invalid, the 1997 will creates a trust, living the same percentage to the same people — Katherine Jackson gets 40% for her lifetime, MJ’s kids get 40% and the remaining 20% goes to charity.

RIP Michael Jackson

Britney was going to have a tour in Europe at the same time with Michael Jackson and she wanted to go see him performing, but now she feels devastated, according to her. Britney sang along with Michael Jackson in a duet back in 2001, during his 30th anniversary concert which took place in Madison Square Garden, New York. They sang The Way You Make Me Feel.

Madonna has also collaborated with Michael Jackson and Britney Spears and she said: “I can’t stop crying over the sad news”. Also she said she admired the star, which she feels very sorry about his loss.

Michael Jackson was already dead when the ambulance arrived and the resuscitation attemps were useless. Unfortunately for him, nothing could be done, so he was declared dead.

There were a lot of fans at the hospital where he was taken that were screaming “You’ve got to save him! You’ve got to save him!”.

Michael Jackson was a real artist and it’s such a loss.

Michael Jackson is is considering having a few more plastic surgeries in his tries to look decent at the London concerts. “Michael has consulted some of the world’s best cosmetologists and surgeons in preparation for this comeback,” Ian Halpetin says.

Yeah, everyone has the right to hope, but I’m sure he will look no better than a monster. Frankenstein anyone ?
