Miley has been a Hollywood star for the last 4 years due to Hannah Montana, a Walt Disney Franchise. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, a country singer, has also helped her in her career.

Miley Cyrus is on a “tour” promoting her new movie called “Hannah Montana: The Movie” which opens on Friday. And she should be doing that as people know her better by the name of Hannah Montana. Including me. The Los Angeles-based star joined Ryan Seacrest on his radio show to promote the movie, and she admitted that she’s “an intense Christian”. Maybe that’s why everything is going well for her. When Ryan told her that her purse is huge, she said “well, you know, Ryan, my Bible really weighs a lot.” I don’t know if God played a role in her career, but if He did then I should become more religious.

Well, Miley is minding her own business and so far she has sold about 7 million albums, released a Wal-Mart clothing line, and featured in a movie which raised more than $70 million, and now she’s going to drive her ‘tween-market fans crazy with this new movie. Also we shouldn’t forget that she released the soundtrack for “Hannah Montana: The Movie” which is becoming more and more popular – “The Climb” is now #20 in the Mediabase Top 40 chart.

Although Miley plays music sung by Billy Ray Cyrus (her father), Taylor Swift, and Rascal Flatts, she doesn’t consider it a long-term paycheck (actually she doesn’t consider it a paycheck at all, but we all know that stars are humble). She is only 16 now, and Hanah Montana will not last forever therefore Miley has to do what’s best for her “celebrity career”. Cyrus looks bored when someone asks her about concerts, photo shoots (like the Vanity Fair one), television, movies, and boyfriends, but when someone says good things about her acting she glows with happiness.

The new Miley Cyrus album doesn’t have what it takes to be the No.1 in the U.S. pop charts. It will be the soundtrack to the upcoming “Hannah Montana: The Movie”, which opens April 10.

Cyrus’ previously releases debuted at the top of the chart, but this one sounds a little bit country and probably her fans aren’t ready for this. Miley Cyrus performs alongside country stars Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift.

Walt Disney Records’ senior vice president and general manager, Jim Weatherson, said that it is not Disney’s intention to reposition Cyrus as a country singer.

“I feel like this is a TV show, and we got really lucky with having the material to make one movie. To do another one, I feel like it takes away the reality of it all,” says Miley Cyrus, that’s absolutely sure there will be no more than one Hannah Montana movie in her life.

She also said that they are continuing with the season three and hope for a fourth one of the TV show, but she doesn’t want to get back on the big screen.

“You never really hear that the movie was written before the book It’s kind of a weird way to do that. But he wrote the movie before he wrote the book, and he wrote it with me in mind,” Miley Cyrus says.
